Patrick left this world on July 16, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred R. Kennedy and Ellen M. Kennedy (Fiala); his wife Joyce Kennedy; his brother Jon Kennedy; and his brother-in-law Lyle Shirley.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Kennedy (Hannah) of Georgia, Troy Kennedy (Amy) of Michigan, Thomas Kennedy (Lisa) of Texas and Michelle Dillon (Chelsey) of Florida; his siblings, Fred Kennedy (Holly) of Indianola, NE, Sally Sitzman (Larry) of Lincoln, NE and Kathryn Shirley of Gering, NE; and his sister-in-law Gloria Kennedy of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Carpenter Breland Funeral Home (305 W C St, McCook, NE 69001). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Catherine's Catholic Church (815 D St, Indianola, NE 69034).
