She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Schow and Faye Schow (Johnson); her sister Marilyn Kay; and her parents-in-law, Darrell and Winifred Derr.
She is survived by: her husband Wally Derr; her children, Susan Nickerson (Bob) of Kearney, Steve Derr (Michelle) of Sterling, Jeff Derr (Kendra) of Kearney and Janet Weiss (Dean) of Franklin; her grandchildren, Matt Nickerson (Anna) of Kearney, Madison Derr (Jim Sloup) of Omaha, Katie Mason (Jacob) of Callaway, MaKayla Weiss, Wyatt Gibson of Hastings, Ryan Weiss, Taelyn Pritchard of Franklin, Makenzie Derr of McCook, Amber Massa of Kearney, Whitney Kuhlen of Kearney and Brooke Hochstetler of Colorado; her great grandchildren, Scout Mason, Banks Nickerson, Oliver Mason, Alivia Kuhlen, Hazel Kuhlen, Jack Massa and Lucas Massa; and her brothers, Raymond Schow (Judy) of McCook, Roger Derr (Pat) of Littleton, Rodney Derr (Louise) of Corpus Christi and Butch Derr (Barb) of Warrner Robbins, Georgia..
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel - McCook (607 Norris Ave, McCook, NE 69001). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:40 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are in Sharon's name are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
