He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Vontz and Esther Vontz (Brown); his sister Mary James; his brother-in-law Mike Ross; and his nephew Brad Ross.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Tyler, Ally, Rhys, Koy and Judd; his children, Seth Vontz (Karen) of Lincoln, NE, Candy Hayden of Lincoln, NE and Sara Pierce of North Platte, NE; and his siblings, Tom Vontz (Mary) of McCook, NE, Judy Ross of Bartley, NE and Janet Brenning (Bob) of McCook, NE.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (1212 W 14th St, McCook, NE 69001).
