It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tomasa Jarvis of McCook, Nebraska, born in Cameron, Texas, who passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Felipe Gaona and Angelita Gaona (Trevino); her former life partner Arthur Alegria; her husband Douglas Jarvis; her children, James, Gilbert and Mary Ann Alegria; her grandson Bryce Maret; and her sisters, Maria Gutierrez and Gertrude Gaona.

She is survived by : her children, Sunday Alegria (Phyllis) of Culbertson, NE, Mike Alegria (Therese) of Denver, CO, Eva Monzon (Paul) of Lincoln, NE, Elizabeth Vance, Gloria Brannon (Michael) of Winchester, VA and Frances Maret (Rodney) of McCook, NE. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; twenty nine great grandchildren; eighteen great great grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
