It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derek Rea of McCool Junction, Nebraska, born in Geneva, Nebraska, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Leo Rea (Marg) and Duane Green (Pearl). He is survived by: his parents, Julie and Michael Rea (Julie); his uncle Gene Green (Kris); his aunt Kathy Heine (Virgil); and his cousin Craig Rea.
