He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Bellis and Frankie Bellis (Mann); and his brother-in-law Bernard Steward. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Bellis (Bredenkamp); his children, Drew Bellis (Abbey), Heather Stahr (David) and Todd Bellis (Christine); his grandchildren, Garrett, Dane, Beiker Bellis, Brodie, Teigin, Cambil Peterson, Cole, Ian Stahr, Kalin Rodgers and Zoe Barnes; his siblings, Anna May Steward, Carol Surber (Ron), Virginia Witte (Chuck), Dick Bellis (Susan), Louise Smith (Dave) and Danny Bellis (Sharon); and his sister-in-law Ann Sipma (Brian). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Metz Mortuary (109 S Lincoln Ave, York, NE 68467). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (109 S 3rd St, McCool Junction, NE 68401).
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be directed to the family for future scholarships at McCool Junction Public Schools.
