He was predeceased by: his father David R. Kuether; and his grandparents, Walter, DeEtte Whitwer, David E. and Margaret Kuether.

He is survived by: his mother DeVon Kuether (Whitwer) of Tilden; his siblings, Rick Kuether of Texas, Jim Kuether of Pierce, Diane LaRue (Lonnie) of Meadow Grove and Kathy Osborn (Bill) of Tilden; and his uncle Ardell Whitwer of Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
