She was predeceased by: her parents, Leola Francis Morton (Comstock) and Norman Morton; her brother Jim Morton; and her daughter Sarah Smith. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Ibrahim (Roy), Tanisha Herder (Jeff), Clayton Frye and Pamela Smith; and her siblings, Janet Erickson (Mike), Juanita Merriweather (Tim) and John Morton. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Beecher Hall (1730 18th St, Mitchell, NE 69357).
