It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara K. Lynn of Minden, Nebraska, who passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rubin N. Shannon and Louella M. Shannon (Ostman); her husbands, Dennis A. Petersen and Jim Lynn; and her sisters, Roma Virden and Charlotte Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Rich of Minden and Rhonda Lynn of Burlington, VT; her grandchildren, Amanda Breyer (Paul), Melissa Kornfeld (Tyler) and Jody Rich; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Hunter Breyer and Sadie Kornfeld; and her close friend Reed Danielson. She is also survived by relatives and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Barb's honor are kindly suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Minden, the Minden Senior Center or to Kearney County Historical Society.
