He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Farlin and Augusta Farlin (Otto); his wife Mary P. "Pat" Farlin; his stepmother Ollie Farlin; his siblings, Byron Mentzer, Bud Mentzer, Darrel Farlin, Neil Forrest Farlin, Leslie Farlin, Stanley Farlin, Ruth Spink, Vivian Wood and Joanne McLaughlin; the mother of his children Carol Farlin; and his daughter Peggy Marie Farlin.
He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Farlin (Vicki Leos), Alan Farlin (Delores), Karl Farlin (Judith) and Matthew Farlin (Juliet); his stepchildren, Patricia Rudy and James Dyke (Jackie); and his siblings, Ivan Farlin of Springview, Veda Chase (Mike) of Crofton and Annita Benedict (Bret) of Great Falls, Montana. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
