She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Detrick and Alice Detrick (Sinnen); her son Douglas; her husband John N. Johnson; her daughter-in-law Nancy; her sisters, Virginia Borchers (Cliff) and Shirley Meiner (Allen); her siblings-in-law, Norma Jacobsen (Delmar), Lee Johnson (Ruth) and Floyd Johnson (Naomi); her father-in-law Fred Johnson (Esther); and her nephew Gayle Borchers.

She is survived by : her children, Linda Heberling (Thadd) of Sioux Falls, SD, Rita Crooks (Steve) of Minden and Todd Johnson of Hastings; and her brother-in-law Gary Johnson (Betty Jo). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and close friends.
