He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Christensen and Chester Christensen (Minden); his wife Norma Jensen Christensen; his sister Luann (Roger Johnson); his sons, Bob and Jim; his son-in-law Shawn Duncan; his great grandchild Kristian Duncan; and his pet Rover.
He is survived by: his son John Mark of Wyoming; his daughters-in-law, Jane Christensen (Jensen) of Minden and Karla Fandry (Jim) of Grand Island; his granddaughter Heather Thesenvitz (Tom); his great grandchildren, Kylie, Tarah (Moran), Tucker Norris, Elizabeth, Max, Molly and Amelia; his granddaughter Megan Duncan; his great grandchildren, Ariah and Madison; his granddaughter Dana Fetters (Donnie); his great grandchildren, Mary, James, Ruth and Anna of Colorado; his granddaughter Brooke Graham (Eric); his great grandchildren, Elijah and Isaac; his granddaughter Robin Mortenson (Ty); his great grandchildren, Ryleigh and Brynlee; his grandson Jon (Maddie); his great grandchild Murphy; his daughter-in-law Eddie Christensen; Bentley and Austin.
A graveside service was held on Monday, October 24th 2022 at 3:30 PM at the Minden Cemetery (801 W 1st St, Minden, NE 68959). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (437 E 4th St, Minden, NE 68959). The military honors will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Minden Cemetery (801 W 1st St, Minden, NE 68959).
