Richard A. McBride Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard A. McBride of Minden, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. R. "Shep" McBride and Isabel McBride (Chaplin); his daughter Patricia; his siblings, Jim (Pam), Bob McBride (Erma) and Pat Peterson (Conrad); and his in-laws, Judi Hamous and Jim Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Lyn of Minden; his children, Sarah Thompson (Jeff) of Hastings and Mark McBride (Jennifer) of Kearney; his grandchildren, Anna McBride, Max McBride and Ava McBride of Kearney; and his in-laws, Jim Hamous of Amarillo, TX and Pat Miller of Minden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Minden United Methodist Church or Kearney County Health Services Foundation.
