He is survived by: his children, Janna Tripe (Brad) of Alma, Jodi Maaske (Brian) of Loomis, Julie Klotthor (Kenny) of Sedona, AZ, Melissa Johnsen of Loomis and Kert Hansen (Jenny) of Wilcox; his grandchildren, Brianne (Justin), Brook (Troy), Terah (Jerome), Trevor, Casey, Lance, Cami, Alexandra (Alex), Sydnie (Ryan), Kinley and Kolby; his great grandchildren, Rylan, Colson, Kimberli, Nicklin, Taryn, Sydney, Harper, Teagan, Bailey, Scarlette, Reddik, Cadence, Ethan and James; his siblings, Gladys Johnson of Holdrege, Mary Jane Jensen of Omaha, Carol Jean Abramson of Kearney, Elizabeth Johnsen (Gary) of Stapleton, Rose Gillespie (Don) of Globe, AZ and Harold Hansen of Wood River; and his brother-in-law Bob Berlie of Holdrege. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives and close friends.
