He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest J. Christensen and Myrtle Christensen (Johannesen); his brother Dale; his wife Lois Ann Nelson; his son-in-law Clyde Albers; and his great grandchild Kolton Albers.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Stubbs (Randall) of Lincoln, Julie Zoerb (Dean) of Minden and Terry Christensen (Brenda) of Minden; his grandsons, Ryan Minert, Brock Minert, Nicholas Albers, Jacob Albers, Tanner Gibb and Collin Martin; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Minert, Molly Minert, Kami Albers, Kylie Albers, Kiezer Albers, Mason Martin and Reid Martin.
