She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Martinez (Jose) and Consuelo Martinez; her husband Virgil Choate; her sister Nellie Schou; her sons, Fabian and Vincent Castillo; and her grandson Duane P. Christie.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Castillo (Jojo), Belinda Enneking and Daniel Castillo (Zoe); her grandchildren, Tamara Axent, Jacob Castillo (Sabrina) and Shadai Schwartz; her great grandchildren, Shayla (Talia), Keegan (Tess), Taiven (Ashly), Xaeley (Cormac), Cain, Jase, Larissa, Axel, Blaze and Isabella; her great great grandchild Aster; and her siblings, Frank Martinez (Elena), Bernadine Ventura, Grace Nielsen (Paul) and Patricia Kloefkorn (Lance).
In lieu of flowers please wear red, her favorite color, perform random acts of kindness and learn to make tortillas in honor of the life lived by Bessie.
