With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Leonard Busch of Mitchell, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Jr. Busch and Lydia Busch (Weideman); and his daughters-in-law, Tamara Busch and Andrea Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Norma Busch; his sons, Robert Busch Jr. (Christi), Kendall Busch (Trisha) and Jay Johnson (Ruth); his brother Ron Busch (Phyllis); his aunt Pat Busch; his grandchildren, Mariah (J. T. Grainger), Cutler, Colin, Taylor Busch, Mike (Melissa) and Tony Johnson; his great grandchildren, Afton Webb, Ember Busch, Brayden, Kaylee, Hunter and Tate Johnson; his nephew Jeff Busch (Mandy); and his niece Julia Busch.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Zion Evangelical Church or the Legacy of the Plains Museum.
