She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Micheel and Rose Micheel (Jelinek); her husband Cyrus Cooley; and her sisters, Helen Leaf, Thelma Sanders and Elaine Ballard.
She is survived by: her sons, Doug Cooley (Kim) of Mullen and Fritz Cooley (Carla) of Mullen; her grandchildren, Brandon Cooley (Samantha), Traci Johnson (Ethan) and Travis Cooley (Shalea); and her great grandchildren, Atlee, Breckyn, Beckham and Whytlea.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mullen Funeral Home (105 NE 2nd St, Mullen, NE 69152). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cedarview Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Mullen Methodist Church or Mullen EMT's.
