He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin Backemeyer and Izetta Backemeyer (Brugh); and his sisters-in-law, Barb Fleischman and Frances Fleischman. He is survived by : his wife Bette Fleischman; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Fleischman of Downey, CA, Robert Fleischman (Karen) of Elmwood and Bill Fleischman of Elmwood. He is also survived by Many Great nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
