It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gene Milo Backemeyer of Murdock, Nebraska, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin Backemeyer and Izetta Backemeyer (Brugh); and his sisters-in-law, Barb Fleischman and Frances Fleischman. He is survived by : his wife Bette Fleischman; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Fleischman of Downey, CA, Robert Fleischman (Karen) of Elmwood and Bill Fleischman of Elmwood. He is also survived by Many Great nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
