Robert L. Eggert Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert L. Eggert of Murdock, Nebraska, who passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Eggert and Agnes Eggert (Jirotka); his wife Sharon Nelson; his grandson Tyler Eggert; his brother Eugene; his sister-in-law Margaret Eggert; his parents-in-law, George and Helen Nelson; and his brother-in-law Larry Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Teri Choat (Daniel) of St. Edward, NE, Mike Eggert (Annette) of Murdock and Brenda Brockhoff (Alan) of Murdock; his friend Darren Brauer of Omaha; his grandchildren, Adina Choat (Andrew Hostler), Bartholomew Choat, Caleb Choat, Delilah Potter (Alex), Evey Choat, Fina Choat, Cole Eggert (Nikki Wenzel), Thomas Eggert, Jessica Brockhoff, Candice Brockhoff and Angela Brockhoff; his great grandchildren, Aidan Choat, Laurel, Johnathan Hostler, Alayna and Raylin Potter; and his siblings-in-law, Steve and Patricia Nelson of Arizona. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home - Elmwood Chapel (113 W D St, Elmwood, NE 68349). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (36712 Church Rd, Louisville, NE 68037).
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation to various local organizations.
