He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Leonard "Pete", Veda Bennett, Elwood "Woody" and Phyllis Kreifels; his uncle Greg Drzycimski; and his aunt Cindy Kreifels.
He is survived by: his parent Janene Ann Bennett (Kreifels) of Nebr; his former wife Mary McDonnell of Mary's Catholic Church; his father Allen Bennett; his siblings, Adam Bennett (Anne) of Nebr, Becky Sturm of Nebr, Aric Bennett (Tara) of Nebr and Ryan Bennett (Tawna) of Nebr; his child Keegan Stones of Nebr; his grandchildren, Everett Jay and Daxton Dean; his siblings' children, Trevor, Tylor, Natalie, Abbie, Hollie, Josephine, Carter, Lexie, Bodhi and Margo; and his aunts and uncles, Merri Lynn Drzycimski of Sioux Rapids, IA, James Kreifels (Marilyn) of Omaha, NE, Randy Kreifels (Permelia) of Bennett, NE and Chris Kreifels (Pam) of Nebr.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gude Mortuary (403 S 9th St, Nebraska City, NE 68410). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Benedict's Catholic Church (411 5th Rue, Nebraska City, NE 68410).
