It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Kay Benton of Nebraska City, Nebraska, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her son William Wayne Hauptman; and her father Bud Driever. She is survived by : her children, Kimberly Diaz of Springfield, IL and Robbie Benton (Caitlin) of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Marquese "Marcus" Hauptman, Maria Butler (Tony), Antonio Diaz and Harry Edward Benton; her great grandchildren, Kaesha Hauptman, Noah Butler and Nathaniel Butler; her brother Donald Earith (Veatrice) of Hutton Valley, MO; and her nieces, Rita, Rachel, Darla and Stephanie.

Memorials may be given to the family in her memory.
