He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank A. Eickhoff and Martha M. Eickhoff (Walz); his wife Suellen Eickhoff; his son Steven Eickhoff; and his brothers, Harold, Robert (Alice), Daniel, Donald, Edward and Lawrence.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joan Bradley (Jeff) of Nebraska City, NE and Amy Jahn (Jeff) of Columbus, NE; his daughter-in-law Lia Eickhoff of Lincoln, NE; his grandchildren, Emily Kenney, Luke Bradley, Joe Jahn (Kaylin), Caitlin Jahn, Ellie Jahn, Hallie Kratzer (Jon), Russell Pettigrew, Adam Pettigrew (Paige) and Mathew Pettigrew; his great grandchildren, Charlie Beuck Kenney, Raelia and Rylun Pettigrew; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Eickhoff of Hartington, NE, Joan Eickhoff of Omaha, NE, Della Eickhoff of Fordyce, NE, Margaret Doyle of Tucson, AZ and Donn Morris of Westminster, CO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gude Mortuary (403 S 9th St, Nebraska City, NE 68410). A rosary will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (218 N 6th St, Nebraska City, NE 68410). A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the St. Mary's Cemetery (1900 N 19th St, Nebraska City, NE 68410).
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or St. Mary's Catholic Church in Nebr.
