He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Olis and Josephine Olis (Casper); his daughters, Donna Olis and Denice Olis; his granddaughters, Tanya Olis and Kelsie Ross; his sister Elaine Lewandowski (Myron); and his parents-in-law, Loran and Mildred Lyerla.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Olis of Nebraska City; his children, Debra Ross, Dale Olis (Morgan) of Springfield, NE and Dana Olis of Omaha, NE; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Olis, Jamie Baker (Justin), Jared Olis (Karla), Corey Ross, Bailey Olis, Charlie Olis and Eric Heronimus; his great grandchildren, Brianna, Becca, Brayden, Boston Baker, Konner, Jace, Kaelyn and Jax Olis; and his siblings, James Olis (Patricia) of Rochester Hills, MI and Barbara Hunt (Junior) of Warren, MI.
