He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Lewis and Louise Pauline Reed (Gress); and his former wife Sue Walters. He is survived by: his wife Janet Reed of Nebraska City; his daughters, Roxan Humlicek (Gerald) of Prague, NE and Angela Bishop (Jeff) of St. Joseph, MO; and his brother Ralph Reed (Barbara) of Philomath, OR. He is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be directed to the Otoe County Wildlife Club.
