He was predeceased by: his parents, John Patrick and Mary Margaret Callahan (Magirl); and his brother James Callahan. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Callahan of Nebr; and his brothers, John Callahan (Ruth) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Kevin Callahan (Jackie) of West Branch, IA.
