He was predeceased by: his parents, Allyn Jack Meredith (Mildred Schleiger) and Irene Meredith (Lyons). He is survived by: his wife Sonia Meredith (Kuhlman) of Nehawka, NE; his children, John Meredith (Becci) of Nehawka, NE and Miranda Wistrom (Tracey) of Prairie Village, KS; his grandchildren, David Meredith, Luke Meredith (Jennifer), Seth Meredith, Hank Wistrom and Della Wistrom; his siblings, Bob Meredith (JoAnn) of Mission Viejo, CA and Jackie McClane (Mark Smith) of Plattsmouth, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Kuhlman (Sandi) of Athol, KS and Audrey Swisher (Kyle) of Manhattan, KS..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brian P. Harvey Funeral Home (306 N 7th St, Plattsmouth, NE 68048). A masonic service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the First Congregational Church (204 N Elm St, Weeping Water, NE 68463).
Memorials may be directed to the 4H Program at the Eastern Star Home for children in Fremont, Nebraska, the Nebraska Humane Society, or the Weeping Water United Methodist Church.
