He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Bolling and Dora Bolling (Behnk); his former spouse Gayl Larson; and his nephew Jarod Bolling. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Sterns of Chambers, NE, Rachel Maxon (Ryan) of Lincoln, NE, Jamie Podtburg (Brian) and James J. Bolling, II of Clearwater, NE.; his wife Bobbi Turay; and his brother Merlin Bolling (Janice) of Clearwater, NE.. He is also survived by his children, Jim is survived by 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snider Memorial Funeral Home (503 2nd St, Clearwater, NE 68756). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at the Clearwater Cemetery.
