Barbara Ann Welchert Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Costello and Clara Costello; and her parents-in-law, Robert and Donna Welchert. She is survived by: her husband Larry Welchert of Nickerson, NE; her children, Bill Welchert (Jennifer) of Omaha, NE, Lisa Jordan (Rick), Joe Welchert (Lacey) of Blair, NE, David Welchert (Kay) of Bellevue, NE, Sara Welchert and Tim Welchert (Mary) of Kennard, NE; and her siblings, Bob Costello (Diane), Dick Costello (Trish), Jean Welchert (Donald), Tom Costello (Rico) and Ed Costello (Tracy) of Council Bluffs, IA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home (214 N 14th St, Fort Calhoun, NE 68023). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery (1987 Rd P32, Fort Calhoun, NE 68023).
