Meier of Nickerson, Nebraska, born in Fremont, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2026 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her former husband Don Meier; and her stepson Aaron. She is survived by: her husband Richard Schurman; her children, Nikki Ruffcorn (Nate), Ann Holtz (Heath) and Tim Meier (Hailey); her siblings, Larry Busch and Connie Busch; her grandchildren, Mackenna, Kaleb Ruffcorn, Gabe, Grady, Greeley Holtz, Ellsie and Roland Meier; her great grandchildren, Michelle Desler (Mark) and Marie Schurman Richards; Dan Desler (Melissa), Ashlyn, Kinley, Colson, Katie Desler, Karina, Colin and Jazlyn Von Seggern Carol.
