He is survived by: his sister Clara Schurman (Mengedoht); his wife Phyllis (Knoell); his son Bill Diane Cone (Kenny); his grandchildren, Kelly Cordes (Jeff), Scott Schurman (Jacie), Matt Cone (April) and Mark Cone (Tina); and his great grandchildren, Ella Cordes, Landon Schurman, Aiden Wesemann, Zoey Schurman, Mason Cone, Andrew Cone (Becca Houtby), Kayleigh Cone, Karlena Cone, Koralynn Cone and Kamden Cone.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary - Fremont (1249 E 23rd St, Fremont, NE 68025). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM.
