We bid farewell to Jacquelyn Meier of Niobrara, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 28, 2025 at the age of 89. Jacquelyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John McDonald and Dorcas McDonald (Morrison); her husband William Meier; her children, David Meier and Rose Marie Meier; her sister Donna Meier; and her siblings-in-law, Delores Pein, Kenneth Meier and Henry Pein.

She is survived by: her children, Lucinda Mastalir (Mitchell) of Verdigre, Teresa Hartman (Joseph) of Yankton, SD, John Meier (Audrey) of Pierce, NE, Barbara Braun (Brian) of Ponca and William Meier (Cathy) of Brandon, SD; her grandchildren, Brooke Mastalir, Corby Mastalir (Brittany), Brady Mastalir (Nicole Johnson), Abby Rockford (Aaron), Nathan Meier (Megan Cherek), Miranda Honzay (Troy), Scott Braun, Ada, Hannah and Caroline Meier; and her great grandchildren, Josephine, Jackson Mastalir, Kane, Kellen Mastalir, Hunter Mastalir, Reeslyn, Rowyn, Raekyn Rockford, Madelyn Honzay and Knox Meier.

Jacquelyn was an avid reader and loved books, therefore in lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the Niobrara Library.
