It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adelaide R. Scheve of Norfolk, Nebraska, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Adelaide R. Scheve to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Freudenburg and Lena Freudenburg (Emrich); her husband Alvin; her daughter Jean; her grandson-in-law Kevin Williams; and her sibling Arland Freudenburg (Almira).

She is survived by : her children, Kathy (Jim Booher) and Gary (Holly Scheve); and her grandchildren, Debra Volk (Tom) of Lincoln, NE., Jim Booher (Suzanne) of Atlanta, GA., Jeff Booher (Jeanne) of Lincoln, NE, Scott Scheve (Leslie) of Raleigh, NC, Tom Scheve of Ashville, NC, Ned Scheve of Johnson City, TN, Ann Parr Waples (Chet) of Johnson City, TN, Kimberly Williams of Walton, KY and Mike Barry (Becky) of Benton, IL. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials are requested to St. John Lutheran Church in Battle Creek or National MS Society.
