The memory of Carolyn K. Apland of Norfolk, Nebraska, born in Watertown, South Dakota, who passed away on April 18, 2024 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by : her parents, Milton Hoffman and Irene Hoffman (Murray); her husband Larry Apland; and her son LeRoy. She is survived by : her children, Brenda Hoff (Dennis) of Pierce, NE, Michael Apland (Robi) of Spearfish, SD and Darin Apland of Lincoln, NE; her siblings, Wayne Hoffman (Karen) of Rapid City, SD and Judy Smith of Brookings, SD; her grandchildren, Brett Hoff (Claire), Jordan Hoff (Ashley Mynatt), Danielle Kramper (Corey), Kendra Bos (Tyler), Marissa Apland (Drake Anshutz), Scout and Hopper Apland; and her great grandchildren, Alaina, Oliver, Everlee Kramper and Carson Bos.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Home For Funerals Chapel (708 Georgia Ave, Norfolk, NE 68701). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Northern Heights Baptist Church (3000 Harvest View Dr, Norfolk, NE 68701). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Northern Heights Baptist Church or to the family for future designation.
