It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarice Lumsden of Norfolk, Nebraska, born in Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on July 21, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter J. Bernhardt and Ruth Bernhardt (Darwin). She is survived by: her husband Henry F. Lumsden, Jr.; her daughter Dr. Randa Sue Garden (Lumsden); her son-in-law James Paul Garden of Norfolk; her son Scott Joseph Lumsden; her daughter-in-law Elke Karin Lumsden (Liewald) of Riverside, IL; her grandchildren, Jamy Sue Garden of Norfolk, Nikki Jo Garden-Hart (Stephen Hart) of Atlantic Beach, FL and Ayden Scott Lumsden of Chicago, IL.; and her sister Norma Kier (Bernhardt).
Memorials may be directed to the University of Nebraska Medical Center ICU Department in Omaha who provided Clarice with loving care at the end of her life, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
