He is survived by: his sisters, Donna Brooks (James) and Nora Wright (Richard); his nephews, Kirby Brooks and Elijah Brooks (Katie); his great-nephew Slater of Indianapolis, IN; and his half-sister Bette Sperry (Nielsen) of Lincoln.
