She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Luehrs and Alma Luehrs (Gaskin); her husband Eric "Benny" Benson III; her daughter Carol; and her brothers, Dean, Valoris, Junie and Donald.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Benson (Bev) of Norfolk, Sally Splittgerber (Paul) of Norfolk and Reggie Benson (Kelly) of Battle Creek; her son-in-law Keith Gall of Leigh, Nebraska; and also Jeanie Burkinshaw of Long Pine, Nebraska.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.
