It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Gauchat of Norfolk, Nebraska, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frederick Louis, Sr. and Henrietta Gauchat (Jeanneret); and his niece LuAnn Caspers. He is survived by : his brother Fred Gauchat, Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Marcia Gauchat and Marvin Caspers; his sister Blanche Caspers of Auburn; his nieces, Jeannette Smith of Lansing, KS, Arlis Scanlan (Mike) of Papillion, Stephanie Kathol (Jeff) of Shawnee, OK and Charlotte Easland (Brad) of Norfolk, NE; his nephew Mark Caspers (Jill) of Auburn, NE; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Shaunassey Smith, Brittany Smith, Ben Scanlan, Mitch Scanlan, Kate Fuxa (Colby), Claire Scanlan, Brighton Meuret (Riley), Creighton Kathol (Hannah), Mallory Easland, Sydney Easland and Blake Easland. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Memorials are suggested to Brock United Methodist Church or Lafayette Cemetery.
