He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlington "Bunk" Clover and Pearl Averna Hayes (Stoddard); his wife Judy J. Borden (Siedschlag); his son Bill Borden; and his siblings, Melvin Hayes, Doris Moore, Connie Workman and Marvin Hayes.
He is survived by: his daughter Becki Wulf (Michael) of Norfolk; his foster son Marv Jirovsky (Mary) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Samuel Wulf (Jami) of Kearney, NE, Misty Luna of Katy, TX and Christy Lampert (Harry) of Norfolk; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Carsen, Zach, Madison, Claire and Charley Jane.
Memorials are suggested to the American Legion Post 16 or Veterans of Foreign Wars 1644.
