With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gerald Dahlkoetter of Norfolk, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gerald left this world on October 1, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dahlkoetter and Ethel Dahlkoetter (Shoemaker); his wife Linda Diane Dahlkoetter (Jones); his siblings, Kathy Dahlkoetter, Marilyn Schutt, Barbara Sabo and Billy Dahlkoetter; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Trefry, Joe Sabo and Wayne Schutt.
He is survived by: his daughter Roxann Fox (George); his grandchildren, Britney Dahlkoetter, Jarad Dahlkoetter, Jeremiah Fox (Ciara Wright) and Lyndsay Fox; his great grandchildren, Tallulah and Ariel; and his siblings, Steve Dahlkoetter (Phyllis), Jacque Trefry, Sandy Parks (Jim) and Phyllis Dahlkoetter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear family friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Home For Funerals Chapel (708 Georgia Ave, Norfolk, NE 68701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made by check or cash to the Norfolk Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Gerald's honor.
