He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Norman, Gerry Leach, Bob and Thelma Herman. He is survived by: his parents, Richard Dean and Vicki Sue Herman (Leach) of Clarks; his wife Joelle; his children, Kallan (Taryn Wagner) of Norfolk and Avery Herman of Norfolk; his siblings, Neely Moser (Marty) of Central City and Bucky Herman (Andrea) of Clarks; his parents-in-law, Brad and Sheila Childs of Ottertail, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Darci Sauvageau (Todd) of Forest Lake, MN and Kylie Childs (Damian Smith) of Lakeville, MN.

Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne (302 Lincoln St, Wayne, NE 68787).
