As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though LeRoy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Dreesen and Caroline Dreesen (Anderson); his wife Darlene Dreesen; and his siblings, Ronald Dreesen and Ailiene Lori Olena Dreesen.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Dreesen of Lincoln, Debra Volk (Rick) of Norfolk and David Dreesen of Hickman; and his brothers, Otis "Red" Dreesen of Fair Grove and Gary Dreesen of Gretna. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brockhaus-Howser-Fillmer Funeral Home (901 N 13th St, Norfolk, NE 68701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
