He is survived by: his spouse Maryetta Petersen; his children, Vicki Shald (Gary) of Norfolk and Greg Miller of Norfolk; his grandchildren, Carmel Neesen (Donny) of Dayton, OH, Jared Shald (Julie) of Lincoln, NE and Lydia Pfeifer (Andrew) of Denver, CO; his great grandchild Anthony Neesen of Dayton, OH; and his sister Barbara McConnell (Burl) of Republic, MO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
