Lucille Knievel Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucille Knievel of Norfolk, Nebraska, who passed away on April 24, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Schmit and Gertrude Schmit (Billerbeck); her husbands, Greg Thramer and Joe Knievel; her daughter-in-law Deb Thramer; her siblings, Vincent Schmit, Evelyn "Sister Barbara" Schmit, Henry "Hank" Schmit, Sister Lucretia Schmit and Cornelius Schmit; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Schmit, Carolyn Schmit, Lawrence McHugh and John Aschoff.

She is survived by: her siblings, Ann McHugh, William "Father Roger" Schmit, Rita Aschoff, Jerome Schmit (Pat) and Norbert Schmit (Pat); her sister-in-law Lucille Schmit; and her stepchildren, Christopher Knievel (Karen Lund), Steven Knievel, Edward Knievel, Paul Knievel, Rosemary Schoolfield (Lloyd), Connie Dvorak (Mike), Donna Knievel-Kamas (Jim), Katherine Fry (Kent), Theresa Mackel (Dale), Ann Marie Knievel (Paul Davis) and Rita Weiss (Alan). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
