Maree Riley Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maree Riley of Norfolk, Nebraska, who passed away on April 13, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Maree leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Maree may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh B. Riley and Maree Riley (McGeer); her siblings, William Riley of Grand Island, Katherine "Kay" Gatz of Norfolk and Daniel Riley of Columbus; and her siblings-in-law, CJ "Jack" Gatz and Margaret "Marde" Riley.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Sandra Riley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their spouses and children.

Memorial donations may be made to the Missionary Benedictine Sisters in Norfolk, or to Sacred Heart Parish in Norfolk.
