With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marlin Kratochvil of Norfolk, Nebraska, born in Pierce, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2024 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Kratochvil and Helen Kratochvil (Pospisil); his son Gregory; and his brothers, Ivan Kratochvil and Eldon Kratochvil.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta E. Eggerling of Norfolk; his children, Lisa Lucht (Bill) of Yankton, Ken Kratochvil (Anh) of Omaha and Alan Kratochvil of Norfolk; and his sisters, Delores Wagner of La Salle and Marlene Furley of Norfolk. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
