He is survived by: his daughter Nancy Carley; his grandchildren, Cher Moore (Derrick), Jaida Carley, Kyla Moore, Kamari Moore, Jenny Carley (Jeremy Kerbel), Colby (Abby), Sydney Mitchell, Jamie Meaux (Carmill), Kaliyah and Jazzy Meaux; his son Kevin Kirkland (Shelley); his grandchild Cierra; and his brother Donald Kirkland.
