She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph "Rudy" Pokorney and Doris Pokorney (Shupp); her brother William Pokorney (Bill); her parents-in-law, Orval and Doris Brooks (Wilson); and her pet Diesel.
She is survived by: her husband Brad Brooks; her sons, Todd Brooks (Lacey) of Stanton and Troy Brooks of Battle Creek; her sister Nancy Nelson of Papillion; and her sister-in-law Beth Ann Brooks of Lincoln.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the American Kidney Association, in gratitude for the gift of life Polly received and the hope it continues to bring to others.
