He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Barnes and Eva Barnes (Carpenter); his wife Dona; and his sisters, Betty (Henry Vandersypen) and Audrey (Keith Kreycik).
He is survived by: his children, Todd Barnes (Marcie) of St. Charles, MO, Michael Barnes (Donna) of Lincoln, NE and Ame Barnes of Lees Summit, MO; and his brother Bill Barnes (Evelyn) of Springview, NE.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
