She was predeceased by: her parents, Weldon Rakowsky and Marian Rakowsky (Fletcher); her husband Ronald J. Veskrna; her grandchildren, Sarah K. Veskrna and Wade L. Veskrna; her son-in-law Randy Deckard; and her sister Lucretia Heaps.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Deckard of Lincoln and Jeff Veskrna (Susanna) of Norfolk; her granddaughter Hannah Veskrna of Omaha; her siblings, Arland Rakowsky, Pam Ropte (Russ) and Mark Rakowsky (Charlene); and her sister-in-law Diane Payne (Bill).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Home For Funerals Chapel (708 Georgia Ave, Norfolk, NE 68701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
